Nobility

In the new world, one’s station is directly related to one’s wealth, and you or your family has found riches and/or profited from the human relocation. Your forebears may hold claims to fertile lands or successful settlements; they may sit at the head of a trading house; they may have developed magical technology related to Ærthmotes or airship travel. There has been no lack of opportunity for vast profit in the wake of the Mist, especially to enterprising or scheming individuals.

Being well-off frees you to your whims and gives you access to a family estate. With riches comes notoriety, however, and you may be recognizable or have a well-known name. By now, you know this can be a good or bad thing, depending on what you wish to accomplish. The good just might outweigh the bad, as it is well-known that the rulers of Sol—the great Ærthmote capitol of humanity and its closest allies—have noble ties and friendships, giving you connections and influence outreaching most others.

Races: Human, Elf, Half-Elf, Halfling, Goliath; any involved in the human migration
Benefits: Access to your family’s estate and credit. Increased Streetwise or Diplomacy to invoke nobility.
